fonts-noto-mono software package provides No Tofu monospaced font family with large Unicode coverage, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-noto-mono
fonts-noto-mono is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-noto-mono package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-noto-mono *
You will get with fonts-noto-mono package name, version, architecture and description in a table
